Markforged Fibreglass is a continuous fibre designed to reinforce ONYX or Tough Nylon. Parts containing Fibreglass give you 5 times the strength of ONYX parts. For use in a wide variety of parts that need to be strong and robust.
What is Fibreglass?
Extremely thin strands of glass bundled together with Fibre. Fibreglass is traditionally used in composites for boats, automobile and aircraft manufacture.
How strong is Fibreglass?
Fibreglass has a flexural strength of 210MPa (30.5ksi) and a tensile strength of 590MPa (85.5ksi).
