SOLIDStamp

Embossing device for introducing the positive fit

The embossing technique is a process in which a defined tooth contour is embossed into the workpiece in advance under high pressure for later clamping using positive locking. This work step takes place outside the clamping device. With SOLIDStamp from HWR you can create secure tension thanks to proven embossing technology. With the help of the stamping station, raw parts can be prepared for clamping in the vice in seconds. There is no need for complex pre-processing, such as milling clamping points and dovetails. A minimum clamping depth of 3mm and maximum holding forces are just some of the advantages of SOLIDStamp.

Positive Locking makes it possible!

The positive connection produced by the stamping station offers many advantages. Thanks to minimal clamping edge allowance of just 3mm, the customer is able to reduce their material costs. Furthermore, the highest chip volumes can be achieved, which in turn saves time for the customer and leads to cost reductions. The lower clamping pressure, which is sufficient due to the positive fit, leads to less deformation of the workpiece and leads to better manufacturing results. Due to the very good accessability on the workpiece, shorter tools can be used, which leads to greater process reliability and higher production quality. Thanks to the proven tooth contour consisting of a retaining tooth and a depth stop, components can also be reproducibly embossed and clamped in series. By using a center marking, the workpieces can be positioned precisely in the machine without any annoying work stops.
